My friends over at The Dead Workers party have recently made a video where they found an excellent map seed!
The seed is as follows: @brentcopeland
The seed works as of Minecraft 1.1, it may vary in future updates. AS OF MINECRAFT 1.2, THE SEED NO LONGER WORKS. Thanks to StalkerGrike for the information! [link]
After building the world you start on a tiny island, and you can see a slightly larger island paradise (pictured).

These guys used some of my structures in a podcast last year and ever since I have listened to their podcast and subscribed to their youtube.
Alongside the podcast they do excellent lets plays and adventures.
